Warren’s style isn’t flashy or entertaining but it works. Lots of Greco-Roman clenches and Freestyle takedowns carried Warren to a second Bellator MMA title Friday. Warren displayed lots of heart fighting Dantas who had more striking and submission skills than Warren. Warren (12-3) became Bellator’s first fighter to win titles in two weight classes by claiming the bantamweight championship in a unanimous decision against Eduardo Dantas at Bellator 128 at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Warren isn’t very entertaining as a MMA fighter. If he really wants to have a long successful career in MMA he needs to dramatically improve his striking. Most of his hand strikes were thrown one at a time. I didn’t see him throw one kick. This won’t get it done in modern MMA.
